Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Walsall) celebrates Laylat-ul-Qadr

Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Walsall held a “Laylat-ul-Qadr” Mehfil on Wednesday 21st July 2017. Following the Taraweeh prayer a speech was given by Allama Ali Akbar Qadri, which stressed the importance of establishing a link with the Quran so that we may be able to succeed as it is a comprehensive guidance containing advice for all aspects of life.

Allama Sahib also delivered a message to parents telling them that it was necessary that they themselves read the Holy Quran but also read it with translation so they may gain an understanding of the Holy Book. He also said that this would encourage their children to follow because children will only follow when they see something in practice.

After the speech, Hafiz Muhammed Omar Sahib and Hafiz Surkhaab Ali Sahib, were congratulated on completing the Holy Quran. They were given the opportunity to make Dua for everybody. Then there was a break along with refreshments.

Salat-Ul-Tasbih was offered. There was Naat by Shakil Ahmed Sahib and Ali Ikram Hamdani. The Zikr was led by Qari Wajid Mehmood. Finally, the people had the opportunity to contemplate on their life and ask for forgiveness from Allah Almighty. A special Dua was made for the martyrs of the Model Town Massacre.
