Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has said that the political message of March 23, 1940 is for the nation to get united. He said that when the people of the sub-continent got together under the leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam, Pakistan came into being. He said that the whole nation needs to get united again to get rid of corruption-ridden system.
A group of 13 young women conducted a sponsored walk from Jamia Masjid Minhaj ul Quran Brunswick Street Nelson to the Singing Ringing Tree in the landscape of the Pennine Hills overlooking Burnley in aid of Syria and Palestine on Sunday 26th February 2017. The sponsored walk was organised by Minhaj Sisters UK (Nelson) in cooperation with Minhaj Welfare Foundation under the Raising Smiles 2017 project.
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that social, political and economic justice has become non-existent and a kingdom in the name of democracy has been established in the country. He said that the Quaid-e-Azam assured minorities of complete protection but majority of the masses face exploitation at the hands of a handful of corrupt ruling elite here.
A mass marriage ceremony was held at the central secretariat under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation. President of MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the event. In today’s mass marriage ceremony, 23 couples entered into matrimonial alliance. Dower to the tune of 175,000 was given to each bride besides arrangement of feast for 700 guests. The brides and grooms were welcomed traditionally.
Minhaj Sister League France organized a first study circle on the topic of Hijab. The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran (Surah Al-Jumu’ah) by sister Uzma, followed by Durood-e-Pak and a Nasheed by sister Mahira. Sister Rehana explained what is Hijab according to the Sunnah and what Quran says about it. Masha Allah, number of participants was around 30. It was an informative and very interactive study circle.
