Minhaj Free Ambulance Service inaugurated in Gujrat

Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) has inaugurated free ambulance service in Gujrat. The inaugural ceremony featured Dr Shahid Mahmood, Director Minhaj Welfare Foundation as chief guest. After cutting the red ribbon, Dr Shahid Mahmood said MWF was providing free ambulance services in 24 cities of Pakistan.

Director MWF Dr Shahid Mahmood, Amir-e-Punjab Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Pir Syed Azmat Ali Shah Bokhari, Mian Maqsood Ahmad, Sheikh Arshad, Chaudhry Muhammad Youqub, Mian Munwar Hussain Doger, Rai Ijaz Ahmad Khan, and Chaudhry Serwar Hussain were the guests of honour.
25 Collective Marriages under MWF Faisalabad

Minhaj-ul-Quran Welfare Foundation (Faisalabad chapter) organized congregational marriages of twenty five couples on November 9, 2008 in Gulfishan Colony, Faisalabad. Naib Nazim-e-Ala MQI, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, presided over the programme whereas senior provincial minister, Raja Riaz Ahmad, was the chief guest at the occasion.
Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri speaks on issue of forced marriages

The important and central program of Sahibzada Hussan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri’s visit to Norway took place in Red Cross Hall on December 2, 2008. Since the topic was of immense interest to people and it was the first ever program of its kind in Norway, the zeal and zest of audience was quite noticeable. The team of the Minhaj Reconciliation Council, which had been busy for the successful conduct of the programme, was rolling out red carpet welcome for the incoming guests. The majority of audience composed of young men and women for the topic was such as concerned the youth.
The Messiah, In light of World Scriptures (An interfaith Event)

This event included various members from different religions in a unique multi faith event in the company of Shaykh Ramadan al-Qadri, titled “The Messiah, in the light of world scriptures.”
Summary Reports of Muslim Christian Dialogue Forum (MCDF)

MCDF was established on Monday, November, 9, 1998 to promote religious tolerance between Muslims and Christians so that they could work for the promotion of peace, human rights, and democracy. The forum was set up at a round-table conference, in which Muslims and Christian religious leaders were invited by the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Prof Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Merry Christmas Celebration 2008

Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Muslim-Christian Dialogue Forum (MCDF) jointly hosted a Christmas programme in the Danish Hall of the central secretariat in which the Principal Officer of the American Consulate, Brian D. Hunt and Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri were the chief guests. Recitation from the Holy Quran and Bible was made followed by recital of Naat. Christmas hymns were also sung at the occasion. The leaders of both communities cut Christmas cake, lit the candles of peace and expressed solidarity by holding one another’s hands.

MYL NL organizes lecture of Shaykh Ramadan Qadri at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (Netherlands)

On the third of December 2008, Shaykh Muhammad Ramadan al-Qadri, principal of Farghana institute, visited the Netherlands on the invitation of MYL NL (Minhaj Youth League Netherlands/Holland). On the first day of his visit he delivered the concluding lecture of the ‘Sahih Bukhari Lecture Series’ which were organized by MYL Holland (under the banner of Al Hidayah) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Annual Health Seminar MWL Norway

Minhaj Women League Norway successfully conducted their annual health seminar in Oslo 23 November, 2008. The programme started with the recitation of the Holy verses along with praise to Rasool Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wa Salim. Sister Shafqat Parveen told the participants about the importance to take care of our own health and that it is an Islamic duty to do so.
Re-Organization of MQI France

A meeting of Majlis-e-Shura MQI France was held in Paris on 30th November 2008. President Minhaj European Concil Syed Muhammad Arshad Shah presided over the meeting. The Majlis-e-Shura appointed, after mutual consultations, the new appointment holders for the important seats of the Executive Council for a period of two years.

The Students Peace March was conducted from Lahore Press club to the Governor house under the auspices of Mustafvi Students Movement (MSM) on 13 November 2008. Students from various colleges of Lahore participated. It was led by Central President MSM Muhammad Zeeshan Beg, Senior Vice President M Amjad Butt, Secy Gen Sajid Gondal, Secy Information Hafez Kayani, Tauqir Awan, and other central leaders of MSM. Bilal Mustafvi, Hanif Mustafvi, Tanvir Khan, Latif Sindhu, Rizwan Ali, Ismael Inam and Saeed Khan were also present on the occasion.
