The Minhaj University Charter Function

A function was held at The Minhaj University (TMU), Township Campus, to celebrate the charter being awarded to the Minhaj University by the Government of Punjab. The university received its charter last month when the Punjab Provincial Legislative Assembly passed The Minhaj University Lahore Act 2005.
The Opening Ceremony of Gosha-e-Durood - December 2005

The official opening ceremony of Gosha-e-Durood was held at the hands of Shaykh-ul-Islam on 3rd December 2005 after monthly spiritual programme, shab e bedari, at Jamy e Masjid Minhaj ul Quran. Gosha-e-Durood was launched at the headquarters of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on 1st December. The office of Shaykh-ul-Islam at the headquarters temporarily serving the purpose. The aim of the Gosha-e-Durood is to send blessings to the Holy Prophet SAW continually 24/7/365.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International Annual Collective Itikaf

The Itikaf is the annual ten day seclusion which takes place in the last ten days of the Holy Month of Ramadhan. This practice is optional for Muslims and can be performed alone or collectively. It is an advance form of self purification and spiritual uplift which takes the performer into a domain which is not in the scope of fasting which is a lower form of this spiritual venture.

Tent Villages of 600 MWF Tents Finalized

Minhaj Welfare Foundation have today finalized 2 locations for the establishment of 2 large tent villages. A tent village of 200 tents will be set up in Bagh. The Govt have approved the area for MWF. The tents will be provided by MWF and electricity and water supply will be provided by the Govt of Pakistan. The other Minhaj Tent village will be established in Meran Tanolian near Muzafarabad. MWF will also establish a tent school and tent mosque for the settlers in these Minhaj Tent Villages.

250 Tents and more distribution to the injured & their families

Minhaj Welfare Foundation has distributed more than 250 camps today from its base camp in Rawalpindi. Along with the tents pack of food items were also given to the families which took the tents. The food packs have Flour, sugar, milk, biscuits, beans, tea and other items.
More Tent Villages Were Setup

The delegation reached Mansehra today and setup another Minhaj Tent Village in Mansehra. Fatiha was also prayed for the victims of the earthquake especially at the home of the members and affiliates of Minhaj ul Quran. Many responsible of MQI had lost their loved ones but he ones who were left behind have been helping the teams of MWF with the relief efforts in their areas.

Shaykh-ul-Islam announces date of Imam Mahdi (AS) Birth

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri gave an encyclopaedia of knowledge regarding the events at the time of Imam Mahdi (AS) up until the Day of Judgment, in today's Friday sermon. In Today's lecture Shaykh-ul-Islam took the listeners on a journey into the future and explained various happenings of the future in great detail. He emphasised that all of this information was taken or derived from his vast research on hundreds of hadiths on the subject. He said he was not basing anything on predictions but on the traditions of the Holy prophet SAW.
Detailed Tour by Delegation of Minhaj ul Quran

A delegation of Minhaj ul Quran international left from Lahore today to visit the devastated areas of the earthquake. The delegation was led by Mr.Hassan Mohai ud Din who is the eldest son of Shaykh ul Islam Dr Tahir ul Qadri and the President of the Supreme council of Minhaj ul Quran. The Chief Executive of Minhaj ul Quran Dr Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi and President Pakistan Awami Tehreek Mr.Duryab Yousaf Hashmi were also accompanied by Mr.Hassan Mohai ud Din. Ameer of Punjab Mr. Ahmed Nawaz Anjum and President MWF Kashmir Mr. Sardar Mansoor also joined the delegation during the visit.
Medical Team Arrives From Greece

A team of 4 Greek arrived today in Islamabad to work in collaboration with MWF in Pakistan for the victims of the earthquake. The Greek team represents the pharmaceutical companies in Greece. MWF Greece had managed the distribution of medicines to the medical camps in Pakistan with the collaboration of MWF Pakistan. The team today visited the central camp of MWF in Rawalpindi. They highly appreciated the efforts of MWF.
MWF Relief Efforts Enters 2nd Phase

Minhaj Welfare Foundation has entered its 2nd phase. In the 1st phase of emergency relief Aid MWF have played a significant role in the areas where relief efforts had not reached before. MWF have sent more than 240 trucks to almost 45 different locations. More than 7 camps of MWF were established in the devastated areas for further distribution to the far flung areas.

After a massive emergency relief aid for the hundreds of thousands of victims of the earthquake MWF is now entering its 2nd phase of relief to the people of earthquake. In the past 7 days more than 210 trucks have been sent as emergency relief to the victims of the earthquake. More than 500 tons of edible items like dates, beans, flour, wheat, biscuits, bread, bakery products, oil, and other items, more than 8 million rupees of medicines, 30000 bottles of water, 45000 packets of milk, more than 40000 blankets, candles, more than 1000 Gas Cylinders and almost 700 tents have already been sent to the most hit area.
NAMAZ e JANAZAH was prayed by Shaykh ul Islam Dr Tahir ul Qadri today

Shaykh ul Islam Dr Tahir ul Qadri prayed the Namaz e Janazah along with thousands of people for the ones who passed away during the devastating earthquake last Saturday. Just after the Friday prayers Namaz e Janazah was read and special Dua was also done by Shaykh ul Islam Dr Tahir ul Qadri.
More than 85 Trucks sent by MWF in the past 4 days

20 more TRUCKS have been dispatched today by Minhaj Welfare Foundation from different camps all over Pakistan. Due to the shortage of Transport many camps were not able to send the stuff. In the past 3 days many trucks were sent directly from the sub camps of MWF in Punjab.

16 more trucks were sent today by MWF. 4 trucks have been sent from the base camp in Lahore and 12 trucks have been dispatched from the Main base camp of MWF in Rawalpindi. These trucks have left for Bagh, Rawalakot, Mansehra, Muzafarabad and Balakot.
22 trucks were sent today by MWF

Two Trucks were sent today by MWF from Lahore to Mansehra and Balakot. Another 20 mini Trucks have been sent from the base camp of MWF in Rawalpindi. The trucks have blankets, clothes, milk, biscuits, medicines, first aid medicines, other food items. MWF team have also established a camp in Mansehra from where aid is being provided to the surrounding areas.
MWF : 5 Million Rupees for Earthquake Fund

Minhaj Welfare Foundation has set up an emergency Earthquake fund of 5 million rupees for the victims of the Earthquake and more than 5 million will be spent for the victims of the earth quake" Today this announcement was made by Shaykh ul Islam Dr Tahir ul Qadri. Shaykh ul Islam also expressed his grief and sorrow and insisted all the affiliates and members of Minhaj ul Quran to participate whole heartedly to help the fellow Muslim brothers and sisters at this state of national disaster.
