Sixth edition of mass marriage ceremony held under MWF Faisalabad

The escalating cost of living, inflation, and fast aggravating poverty has made it well nigh impossible for the less privileged sections of society to marry off their daughters. In these circumstances, Minhaj Welfare Foundation, under the leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has been working for the welfare and wellbeing of the downtrodden sections of society for last many decades.
Supervisory committee visits under-construction school in Muzzafarabad

Supervisory committee and Director of Minhaj Welfare Foundation visited the under-construction Minhaj Model School and Islamic Centre at Gojra in Azad Kashmir. This model school is being built up by Minhaj Welfare Foundation in collaboration with MWF (Turkey chapter), which will impart education to the earth quake-hit students.
MSM (Sisters) holds Introductory Workshop 2011

An organizational workshop entitled “Introductory Workshop” was arranged by MSM (Sisters) on Saturday, 15th October 2011. The aim was to introduce Mustafavi Students Movement (Sisters), its objectives, and the activities among different categories of female students in Lahore. The purpose was also to maintain a proper organizational structure of MSM (Sisters) in Lahore. About 90 students from different educational institutions of Lahore participated.

On 6th October 2011, Hege Hoiland (Director, Integration and Diversity, Oslo Norway) and Ms. Vivien Wrede Holm (Special Advisor, Social Affairs Royal Norwegian Embassy Islamabad) visited the office of Minhaj Reconciliation Council Kharian. They were welcomed by Mr. Sohail Ahmad Raza (Director Interfaith Relations and MRC, Pakistan), Mr. Shafqat Hussain Awan (General Secretary Minhaj Reconciliation Council Kharian), Mr. Tariq Hussain Mirza (Senior Executive Member) and Ms. Shabana Malik (Lady Councilor).
World community holds Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in high esteem: Canadian High Commissioner

H.E. Ross Hyness appreciated the result-oriented services of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for the cause of global peace, interfaith harmony, elimination of terrorism, extremism, attitudes of intolerance and immoderation. He said that the world community held his contributions in high esteem. The struggle of MQI for the establishment of global peace would surely prove to be of historic significance, he added.
Shaykh-ul-Islam officially opens new head office of Minhaj Welfare Foundation (London)

Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) UK & Europe opened its new head office in London. Shaykh-ul-Islam paid a short visit to the new head office prior to his departure for Hajj 2011. MWF UK & EU has been rapidly expanding its welfare operations and progressing over the past few years. The new head office is to aid the expansion and development of MWF to ensure that it progresses and develops towards the vision set by its founder, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Foundation day of MQI celebrated in India

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Hyderabad chapter, India) celebrated the 30th foundation day of MQI and organized three-day programs from October 15th to 17th. Different functions were organized at the MQI secretariat in Hayderabad as well as in Minhaj-ul-Quran Model Schools to mark the occasion.

Free anti-dengue medical camp held in Minhaj College for Women

On September 26, 2011, Minhaj Welfare Foundation organized a medical camp in Minhaj College for Women in Township, Lahore, to raise awareness for prevention of dengue virus. The anti-dengue drive was launched by MWF in a camp held in central secretariat of MQI in Lahore in which patients were given free quality medicines imported from Germany.
Concluding ceremony of Irfan-ul-Quran Course held

The concluding ceremony of Irfan-ul-Quran Course was held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Faisalabad chapter) in which the participants were awarded certificates. The proceedings of the program, which was held in Minhaj Islamic Centre Gulfishan Colony, started with the recitation from the Holy Quran followed by Naat.
