Historic Fatwa of Shaykh-ul-Islam a great service to Islam: Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Addressing the audience, Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Islam does not admit of terrorism and extremism. There is a clear difference between Jihad and killing. He stated that Jihad has various kinds i.e. Jihad through knowledge, wealth, good deed, against one’s lower self and with sword. He said that Jihad with sword is the last category and is qualified with a number of conditionalities.

A Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference was organized under the banner of International Islamic Society on March 6, 2011 in Holiday Inn hotel in which Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI’s Federal Council, was the guest of honour. A large number of people including Counsel Generals of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran and other countries and women also participated in the program. Abid Ali Baig conducted the proceedings of the Conference.

On November 7, 2010, MQI Hong Kong organized a Mehfil-e-Naat. The proceedings started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by HafizTanvir Hussain Shah. Muhammad Yousuf and Qari Sabir Hussain Sabri had the honour of reciting Naat.
MQI Hong Kong holds Conference on Seera-tun-Nabi (SAW)

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Hong Kong) organized a prestigious ‘Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference’ in the club hall of Pakistan Association of Hong Kong. Kong on a five-day tour on November 6, 2010. A large number of workers of MQI
including its patron Niaz Muhammad Khan, president Muhammad Sikander Baacha and
Muhammad Nasim Naqshbandi welcomed the respected guest on his arrival at the
airport.
Certificate Distribution Ceremony at MQI (Hong Kong)

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Hong Kong chapter) organized a Certificate Distribution Ceremony last month at Shek Lei Community Hall. This ceremony was held to award the students the certificates as a token of encouragement for completing reading of the Holy Quran.
Imam-e-Kaba visits Minhaj-ul-Quran Hong Kong

Imam-ul-Harem, Shaikh Salih Bin Muhammad Bin Ibrahim Talib visited Idara Minhaj-ul-Quran Kwai Chung on Thursday, 23 October, 2008. Hundreds of people gathered at the Islamic center to welcome him. On the arrival of the Imam, some local children presented him with the bouquets of flowers.
Meeting with Hong Kong Taoist Association School

He is one of approximately 3,000 Sri Lankans who have settled here in Hong Kong, including many respected professionals and government officials. During his time in Hong Kong, Mr Batcha has worked tirelessly to uphold the rights of ethnic minority citizens.
