MQI (Netherlands) holds Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference 2013

On February 10, 2013, Minhaj-ul-Quran International The Hague, (Netherlands) organized the National Milaad Conference 2013 in which Allama Hafiz Iqbal Azam and Safir-e-Europe Allama Hafiz Nazeer Ahmad Qadri were the guests of honor.

Mawlid Festival 2012 - Netherlands

Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Allah Almighty sent the Holy Prophet (SAW) as a mercy for all the worlds. He said that the Holy Prophet (SAW) is the last of all Prophets. He said that the last Prophet of Allah kept on urging the believers to fulfil the rights of others without any discrimination and the state of Madina set up by him was a manifestation of equality of rights and rule of law where members of all communities including Jews and Christians enjoyed fruits of real equality.

Mawlid Festival 2011: A struggle of peace, love and knowledge

The Hague – On Sunday March 27th, Mawlid Festival took place for the fourth time: the biggest multicultural event in The Netherlands entirely focused on Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw). This year's theme of the festival was "A struggle of peace, love and knowledge". Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League NL wanted to dispel the numerous misconceptions regarding Prophet Muhammad (saw) and show his true character.

Grand Mawlid Festival 2010 in Netherlands

On 14th of March 2010, Minhaj Youth League held a grand Mawlid Festival for Muslim youth in the Netherlands. It is the largest Mawlid gathering in Dutch which attracted more than 900 people from different ethnic backgrounds. Main speakers were Ustadh Usama Canon (US) and our chief guest Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri.

Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri speaks on radicalism, education and democracy

On Thursday January 14, a seminar took place at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam titled ‘Challenges for Muslim Youth’, organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League Netherlands. The chief guest of this evening was Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, son of the renowned scholar Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He urged the youth present there to work hard for promotion of a culture of democracy and education and resist radicalism in all its manifestations.

Milad-un-Nabi celebrations under the banner of Muslim Youth League UK – Sisters

Milad-un-Nabi celebrations were held in Oldham, under the banner of Muslim Youth League UK – Sisters on 1st March 2009 at Madina Islamic Centre, Coppice. The event was primarily aimed at the English speaking Muslim youth and all speeches were conducted in the English language.

MQI Haig organizes 'Shahdat-e-Imam Hussain Conference'

In order to pay tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (ra) for matchless sacrifice for the cause of Islam and human rights, MQI Haig organized "Shahdat-e-Imam Hussain Conference". Hafiz Habib-ur-Rehman conducted the proceedings of the programme. The program started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Zeeshan Amanat Ali Chohan followed by Naat which was recited by Sheeraz Malik.

MYL NL organizes lecture of Shaykh Ramadan Qadri at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (Netherlands)

On the third of December 2008, Shaykh Muhammad Ramadan al-Qadri, principal of Farghana institute, visited the Netherlands on the invitation of MYL NL (Minhaj Youth League Netherlands/Holland). On the first day of his visit he delivered the concluding lecture of the ‘Sahih Bukhari Lecture Series’ which were organized by MYL Holland (under the banner of Al Hidayah) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Award for top talent among Dutch students

In April the annual ECHO Awards were awarded to the top talent among the Dutch immigrant students. Computer Science student Faisal Mirza of The Hague University won the Technology Award. He received the prize from Mr Plasterk, Dutch Minister of Education, Culture and Science. Faisal Mirza, life-member MQI, was nominated because of the fact that he is co-founder of MashriQ, a Muslim students association at the The Hague University and the Erasmus Rotterdam University. He is well known for his active role in Al-Hidayah holland, a branch of MQI. Besides that he also founded the successful website Wijblijvenhier.nl for Muslim writers in The Netherlands and he contributed as a tutor for fellow students at The Hague University. Faisal gives a positive contribution to the dutch society in an intelligent way.

Milaad Festival 2008 organized by Al Hidayah NL

The Milaad Festival 2008 was organized by Al Hidayah NL, which is the local branch of the youth of Minhaj-ul-Quran Holland. A regular group of members gather on a weekly basis to study Irfan-ul-Quran and Minhaj-us-Sawiyy. Every once in a while, Shaykh Ramadan al-Qadri and Shaykh Sohail Siddiqui are invited to come over from UK and deliver their lectures and tarbiyyah.
