Historical Launching of Fatwa Against Terrorism

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founding leader and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has issued his detailed edict (Fatwa) against terrorism which consists of more than 600 pages. The launching ceremony of the Fatwa was held on March 2, 2010 in London (UK).
International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference 2010 under MQI

The 26th annual and the Islamic world's biggest ever "International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference" under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International was held on the intervening night between the 11th and the 12th of the holy month of the Rabi-ul-Awwal (February 26, 2010) at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan.
Minhaj Ambulance Service launched

Minhaj Welfare Foundation has started its ambulance service in the Wandu area (PP-99) of Gujranwala. With this addition, the total number of ambulances under MWF has increased to 25. The inaugural ceremony was held on February 9, 2010 where Iftikhar Shah Bokhari, central Deputy Director of MWF, was the chief guest on the occasion. He handed over the keys of the ambulance to the Director welfare of the Wandu area.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council hosts Milad Feast

On 23rd February 2010, a grand ceremony of Milad feast was held in the central secretariat under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council, which was presided over by Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI's Supreme Council. Allama Muhammad Asghar Saddiqui, principal of Jamia Saddiquia Bagbanpura, Mufti Muhammad Zaman Ayazi, principal of Jamia Farooqia Iqbal Town, Sahibzada Muhammad Shahzad Mujadadi, renowned religious scholar and president of Ulama Council, and Hafiz Abdul Qayyum from Rahim Yar Khan were the guests of honour on the occasion.
Second day of Milad feast

The second programme of Milad feast was held on February 17, 2010 at the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International at 8 p.m. Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI’s Supreme Council, presided over the programme, whereas Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI’s Federal Council was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Milad Celebrations 2010 commence at MQI Central Secretariat

With the moon-sighting of the holy month of Rabi' al-Awwal, the Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) inaugurated first of its Ziafat-e-Milad programme on 16, Februrary, 2010. The 59th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was celebrated across the world including Pakistan with traditional fervour and utmost reverence on February 19, 2010. In addition to workers and associates of MQI, the members of Christian community also organized a birthday ceremony of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri as a mark of tribute for his services rendered for the promotion of peace, interfaith dialogue, protection of minorities’ rights and harmony.

Christmas programme attended by the delegation of MQI

At the invitation of the chairman of International Gospel Mission, Reverend Dr Marqas, a delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran Intrernational participated in the programme. Muhammad Mustafa (G M Malik); director foreign affairs MQI, Sohail Ahmad Raza; director interfaith relations of MQI, Iftikhar-ul-Hasan Chishti and Muhammad Aleen Khan represented the movement. Peace and Integration Workshop in Denmark

On the 23rd January 2010 the Center of Minhaj ul Quran International Denmark welcomed a delegation of the European Peace & Integration Council consisting of Director Ejaz Ahmed Warraich and Abdul Arshed for a two day visit. The main focus of the tour was to initiate a similar council in Denmark that would work for integration, social welfare, and local working assistance.

Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) Rawalpindi chapter organized a seminar at Minhaj-ul-Quran office Kallar under the chairmanship of President of MSM Rawalpindi, Mr. Ali Raza, and Finance Secretary, Mr Farrukh Bilal were the special guests on the occasion. A large number of students attended the seminar. Addressing them on the occasion, Mr. Ali Raza, President of MSM, threw light on the basic concepts of MQI and the importance of struggle being carried out by it in the modern era.
