UK: Halaqa-e-Durood organised by MWL (Hounslow)

On Friday, 21st of February 2014, with the blessings of Almighty Allah and through the intermediation of his beloved Prophet Muhammad [SAW], Minhaj Women League (Hounslow) organised ‘Halaqa-e-Darood’. Sister Hina arranged the programme in a beautiful way at her home in the Hanworth Feltham Area. Mrs. Humaira Shakeel (President) and Dr Amirah Raza (General Secretary) were also there to welcome ladies as this was the 2nd ‘Halaqa-e Durood’ organized by the new chapter of Hounslow (West London). The programme started at 11:30 with the Tilawat of the Holy Quraan than the ladies started recitation of ‘Darood-e-Pak’ for about 45 minutes.

Following recitation of Qaseeda Burda sharif, President Humaira Shakeel gave a short speech on the importance of Milad and ‘Fazeelat-e-Darood’. She quoted extensively from the books of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and Fazeelat-e-Darood-o-Salam. The ladies who attended the blessed gathering were very pleased to be a part of such a beautiful Halaqa-e-Darood. The recitation of the Durood stood at about 13000 on the day while the number stood at 159,700 during the month of Rabi-ul-Awal. The new chapter encouraged the sisters to arrange ‘Halqa-e-Darood’ at their homes with their families and friends and to introduce it to young girls so that we all should build a strong relation of love and respect with our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW). At the end, ‘Salaat-o-salam’ and dua was made. It was a successful programme in every respect. Food was served at the end to all the participants.
