Qadri thanks ISPR for clarification on army chief’s role

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) head Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri today thanked ISPR for telling the truth to nation about army’s mediation.

Speaking to SAMAA’s anchorperson Ali Mumtaz, Qadri said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should have moral courage to accept the truth.

“I was shocked to hear Prime Minister Sharif’s denial in the National Assembly,” he stated.

“We had not requested army to act as a mediator,” he maintained.

It appears that Prime Minister Sharif did not take his cabinet and party into confidence about his decision to invite army chief as mediatory, he added. – SAMAA
