1. رَوَى الْبُخَارِيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَسْتَرْعِي اللهُ عَبْدًا رَعِيَّةً، يَمُوتُ حِينَ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ غَاشٌّ لَـهَا، إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ».

Al-Bukhari reported: al-Hasan narrated (on the authority of Ma‘qil b. Yasar al-Muzani) that Allah’s Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) said: “Allah does not entrust to anyone the affairs of his subjects and he dies acting dishonestly towards them, Allah will forbid Paradise for him.”

Set forth by al-Bukhari al-Sahih, Bk.: al-Ahkam [Judgements], Ch.: “When someone is put in charge of the people, but is not conscientious in it.” 6:2614, 6732. Muslim in al-Sahih, Bk.: al-Iman [Faith], Ch.: “The ruler who is unjust to his subjects deserves the punishment of Fire,” 1:125, 142.

2. عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ مَعْقِلٌ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْتَرْعِيهِ اللهُ رَعِيَّةً، يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ غَاشٌّ لِرَعِيَّتِهِ، إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ».

Al-Hasan reported that Ma‘qil said: “I have heard Allah’s Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) say: ‘Anyone who is entrusted by Allah with the affairs of people who dies while acting dishonestly towards them, Allah has absolutely excluded him from Paradise.”
