Education, not metros, build nations: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Addressing the concluding ceremony of speech competition held under the banner of Bazm-e-Minhaj, MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that there is no difference between terrorists and those who keep the children of the nation deprived of the quality educational facilities. He said that Pakistan will become honorable with the establishment of institutions of international quality, not with construction of orange lines and metro projects. He said that whenever the rulers visit London and New York, they should also visit the universities of these cities so that they come to know the importance of knowledge. He said that every project launched by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is a blend of education and training.

Former test cricketer Akram Raza, Ms. Jahan Ara Wattoo, daughter of former CM Punjab Mian Manzoor Wattoo, journalist Tariq Mateen, Asadullah Khan, Pir Shahbaz Bukhari, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Dewan, Nadeem Abbas, Bishop Wilson Khan, Principal Major (r ) Khan Muhammad, Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Bawari, Sabir Naqashbndi, Sajid Bhatti, Sohail Raza, Jawad Hamid, Shahzad Qadri, Hafeez Ch, Haji Ishaq and others addressed the gathering.

Jahan Ara Wattoo said in her speech that the educational institutions set up by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri are producing a generation having complete awareness. She said that we greatly value the intellectual and scholarly work of Dr Qadri. She said that the long serving rulers of Punjab developed and expanded their business empire instead of building more educational institutions.

Renowned anchor Tariq Mateen advised the students to focus on learning. He said that the dream of a prosperous Pakistan will remain just a dream without education.

Dewan Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din said in his speech that one is pleased to see the courage and confidence of students studying in educational institutions of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.

Prizes were distributed among the position winning students. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri also took oath from the newly elected body of Bazm-e-Minhaj.
