Addressing the Friday congregation at Jamy' Shaykh-ul-Islam, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri, Deputy Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, said that the true secret of the Muslim Ummah's individual and collective success lies in wholehearted adherence to the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah.

He stated that unless Muslims shape their personal, social, communal, and national lives in accordance with Islamic teachings, they cannot attain genuine honour, peace, unity, stability, and progress.

He emphasized that Islam is not merely a collection of acts of worship; rather, it is a comprehensive and complete way of life that provides guidance for every aspect of human existence. Alongside prescribing acts of devotion, the Qur'an and Sunnah offer timeless principles governing morality, social conduct, justice, fairness, public dealings, service to humanity, and interpersonal relationships.

Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri further observed that the contemporary Muslim world faces numerous intellectual, moral, and social challenges. Overcoming these challenges, he said, requires strengthening faith, cultivating sound character, and promoting honesty, trustworthiness, justice, patience, tolerance, and mutual respect. He noted that if Muslims embrace truthfulness, fairness, sincerity, and responsibility in their dealings, society can overcome mistrust, hatred, corruption, and discord.

Addressing the younger generation in particular, he urged them to develop a strong and enduring relationship with the Qur'an and Sunnah, describing this bond as the most effective safeguard against misleading ideologies, intellectual confusion, and harmful social trends. He stressed that young people are the future of the nation, making their religious, moral, and intellectual development an urgent priority.

He concluded by saying that the blessed life and character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ embody the highest ideals of compassion, mercy, tolerance, justice, and service to humanity. The true identity of a Muslim, he said, is reflected in exemplary moral character, truthfulness, fulfilment of promises, integrity, and the faithful discharge of the rights of others. He emphasized that, alongside performing acts of worship, Muslims must align their conduct, attitudes, and daily interactions with Islamic teachings, for the finest society is one founded upon justice, brotherhood, compassion, goodwill, and mutual respect.
