Spiritual Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Gathering Organized by Minhaj Institute for Qira’at & Hifz-ul-Qur’an

A spiritually uplifting Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gathering was organized by the Minhaj Institute for Qira’at & Hifz-ul-Qur’an and Aghosh Complex at the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. A large number of students, teachers, Aghosh residents, office-bearers of Minhaj Women League, leaders and workers of Minhaj-ul-Quran, and distinguished guests attended the gathering.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Ahmad Zain-ul-Abideen. The Khadija and Maryam Group, Mohyuddin Brothers, Muhammad Hammad Rasool (Minhaj Kids Academy), Muhammad Tabassum Alvi and Brothers, and Muhammad Ubaidullah Hamid and Brothers presented devotional poetry in praise of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Students of the Department of Tajweed also had the honor of participating in a collective recitation of the Holy Qur’an.

Hafiz Muhammad Ali Raza spoke on the importance of faith and righteous action in the light of the blessed Seerah and teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. During the gathering, a special address by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, was also broadcast.

Addressing the gathering, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the work of inviting people toward righteousness and reform is, in essence, a continuous process of renewal of faith and religion. He emphasized the need to establish a strong connection with the Holy Qur’an and to fulfill the responsibility of spreading its message with knowledge, wisdom, insight, and sound judgment.

He said that our bond of love with the Holy Prophet ﷺ should become so strong that our personalities, attitudes, and conduct reflect the noble character and Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri stated that every Muslim is a caller toward goodness within his or her own sphere of responsibility, and that the duty of sincere counsel and goodwill is not confined to any particular group or organization. The true demand of love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ is that it should be reflected in our character, morals, commitment to peace, sincerity, concern for others, and service to humanity. “Our presence should become a source of comfort, peace, security, and ease for others,” he said.

The Shaykh-ul-Islam further said that concern for the well-being of God’s creation is a manifestation of purity of heart. He stressed that making the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ a practical part of our lives is essential for promoting love, tolerance, peace, and brotherhood in society. The blessed Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, he said, provides humanity with a perfect way of life and an everlasting source of guidance.

The Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gathering was attended by Al-Haj Abdul Ghafoor Qadri, Raja Zahid Mahmood Qadri, Qari Syed Khalid Hamid Kazmi Al-Azhari, Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi, Muhammad Iqbal Mustafaوی, Qari Muhammad Ismail Saeedi, Muhammad Bashir Jan Qadri, Muhammad Abdul Basit, Haji Ghulam Fareed Aajiz, along with other distinguished guests, teachers, students, Aghosh residents, and office-bearers of Minhaj Women League.

The gathering concluded with the recitation of Durood-o-Salam in the presence of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. A special prayer was also offered for peace, security, unity, and prosperity in the country, the Muslim Ummah, and humanity at large.
