43rd International Mawlid Conference to be held at Minar-e-Pakistan today

The 43rd International Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) Conference, organised by Minhaj-ul-Quran International, will be held today (Tuesday) at the lawns of Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore. The conference will formally commence after the Isha prayer, and all arrangements for the event have been completed.

Hundreds of thousands of devotees of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from across Pakistan are expected to attend. Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, will deliver a special address at the International Mawlid Conference. Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan will attend as the chief guest.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri; President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri; and Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, will welcome the distinguished guests and participants.

Prominent scholars and shaykhs from the Arab world will also participate in the International Mawlid Conference. They include Prof. Dr. Abbas Abdalla Soliman, Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars at al-Azhar Al-Sharif & President of the World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates (WAAG); Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdeldaiem al-Jindi; Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif; Dr. Wael Mahmoud Elsayed Bekhit, Deputy President of the World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates (WAAG).

Internationally renowned Qur’an reciters will have the honour of reciting verses from the Holy Qur’an, while distinguished naat reciters will present devotional tributes in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Eminent religious scholars, spiritual leaders, and prominent academic and religious personalities representing all schools of thought will also attend the conference.
