Al-Azhar Scholars from Egypt Visit MQI Central Secretariat

Distinguished scholars and academics from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Egypt, one of the foremost centers of Islamic scholarship in the Muslim world, were warmly received upon their arrival to participate in the 43rd Annual International Mawlid Conference, organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, along with Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, and office-bearers of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, extended a warm and cordial welcome to the distinguished guests.

The visiting delegation included Professor Dr. Abbas Abdallah Shouman, Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and President of the World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates (WAAG); Dr. Wael Mahmoud Al-Sayed Bakhit, Vice President of WAAG; and Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Dayem Al-Jundi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

The participation of these eminent scholars from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif adds significant academic and scholarly distinction to the 43rd Annual International Mawlid Conference.
