On the special instructions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Minhaj Welfare Foundation Multan has launched relief package to deliver masks, sanitizers and ration to the deserving people. These ration bags are being handed over to the people at their doorstep. The idea is to respect their privacy and self-esteem. As a matter of principle, their pictures are not being taken as well.
WOICE department of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League of Pakpattan Sharif in collaboration with Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) has distributed ration packages among the lockdown affected families. Coronavirus outbreak has disrupted the routine life and greatly affected the lower-income families and specifically the daily-wagers. To cope with the prevailing challenges, WOICE is working diligently to assist the affected families as per capacity.
Protective masks, sanitizers, and ration packages were distributed among thousands of needy people under the banner of MWF and MQI Narowal. Shahid Zaman Lak, Deputy Commissioner Narowal, appreciated the initiative of MQI and stated that all welfare organizations should step forward with the sole mission to help those in acute need. He said the government alone cannot cope up with the magnitude of the challenge and needs the support of the civil society organizations to play their active role in community mobilization.
Minhaj ul Quran International Spain (Spain) with the active participation of MYL Spain has launched a project to help people facing acute difficulties on account of shutdown amid Covid-19. In the first phase, 150 families from Barcelona were provided with minimum subsistence. Each pack consists of the stuff that is sufficient for an average family of five members for twenty days. The foodstuff consists of milk, rice, oil, legumes, tea, sugar, salt, lentils, and flour.
