Making a special Dua for protection from the Coronavirus epidemic, MQI founding leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said prayer prevents the wrath of Allah Almighty and one can get rid of afflictions through charity and alms-giving. He said humanity is in great distress at the moment, adding that hoarders should not bring destruction on themselves by hoarding stuff. He said coronavirus has two aspects: medical and spiritual.
The 8th March is celebrated as the International Day of Women across the world. To celebrate this day, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organized a Women Summit 2020 at National Press Club Islamabad. The Women Summit started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat-e-Rasool (PBUH). Women representatives from across the country became the true voice of Pakistani women.
After completion of construction phase, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri visited the site of soon to open Minhaj College for Women, Khanewal. On observing the building he said that by supporting the Minhaj Welfare Foundation campaigns donors from Pakistan, around the world and specially through fundraising events organised by Minhaj Women League UK, we have given the best of gifts to the people of South Punjab in the form of this Girls College.
Minhaj Scholar, Muhammad Usman Qadri, Director of Education at Minhaj Islamic Center Barcelona (Spain) participated in an “Interfaith Dialogue; Understanding the Fundamentals of Different Religions Beliefs” organised by Barcelona Center for Applied Sciences (BCAS). He threw light on the message of peace & acceptance of other religions in Islam. He also informed about the services and contributions of MQI in spreading peace and fostering interfaith harmony in the world.
