The First Secretary, Embassy of Germany visits Minhaj University Lahore

The First Secretary, Head of Cultural Section, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Islamabad, Katharina Lack paid a visit to Minhaj University, Lahore. The visit lasted for about three hours. She held meetings with the Vice Chancellor, Deans and Officers of the University and informed the participants about the educational assistance various agencies in Germany can provide to this seat of learning. She also explained and handed over informative material for guidance in this regard. She also told that her section would extend help to all who apply for assistance in the fields of Basic Sciences, Social Sciences and Management Sciences. She also visited all the various departments and Computer, Physics and Chemistry laboratories of the University and had a round of the university premises. She felt impressed and appreciated the set-up.

The First Secretary also visited the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and met the leaders of various departments. The Secretary General MQI gave her presentation and briefed her on the global role of bringing peace, harmony, tolerance and moderation to human society, MQI is committed to accomplish under the guidance and dynamic leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
