The 42nd death anniversary of Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri, the father of PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was observed in Dar-ul-Aloom Faridia Qadria in the Jhang Sadar on July 21, 2016. A Farid-e-Millat Seminar was also arranged on the occasion, which was attended by religious scholars, intellectuals and people belonging to various walks of life. The speakers paid rich tributes to Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri for his services and contributions to the field of medicine, Pakistan and Islam.
Sayyida Zainab Conference was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Shorkot Tanzeem which was attended by women in hundreds. Doctors, lecturers and the University students also participated in the conference. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by beautiful Nasheed and Manqabat. Mohtarma Shauqia Tabassam extended warm reception to the participants.
PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri left Faisalabad for visit of flood affected areas of Jhang on October 14 after successful public meeting at Dhobi Ghat by the name of ‘Revolution in Faisalabad’. Thousands of people came out on roads to accord a warm welcome to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri as he passed through cities, towns and villages. A sea of human heads could be seen lining up on the roads to receive Dr Qadri at Jhang-Chiniot More, Ayub Chowk, Sadar, Head Trimmu, Athara Hazari, Garh More, and Ahmadpur Sial.
PAT Shorkot, Jhang chapter took out a rally to protest the non-provision of justice in the Model Town case. The rally, which was attended by workers of PAT, religious and political parties and the members of civil society organizations, was organized as part of the Qisas movement. The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding justice. They were holding banners and placards. The PAT leaders addressed the rally and vowed to continue the struggle till the ends of justice are served.
