Speaking after the Dua, Allama Farhat Hussain Shah deplored the fact that nothing was done in connection with arresting the perpetrators of terrorism despite passage of 40 days. He said that people are still in the dark and no information has been supplied as yet by the government. He demanded of the government to expose the culprits and take people into confidence in that regard. He said that tragedies continue to recur but facts are not brought to the fore. He said that the perverted elements attacked the Data Darbar and are still at large without any fear of reprisal. He asked the government to take concrete steps for the elimination of terrorism and also address the root causes that spawn terrorism and extremism. He emphasized the need of taking out hate material from the syllabi of the religious seminaries, saying that we need to focus on the common areas of every religious school of thought.
