Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has condemned the gruesome murder of Justice Javed Iqbal’s parents and expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives. He said that the law and order situation has deteriorated to such an extent that even the families of those tasked with dispensation of justice are not safe. He further said that if this is the level of security for the life, honour and property of privileged sections of society, the state of security for the common man can be understood. He demanded of the government to apprehend the culprits of this horrible crime and mete out exemplary punishment to them so that the repeat of such incidents could be stemmed.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the government needs to introduce fresh legislation on law and order and take urgent measures for restoration of peace. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in peace and give patience to the family to bear the loss of precious lives.
