Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Secretary General of MQI, returned to Pakistan after conclusion of his organizational tour to Europe on January 18, 2011. He was given a red carpet welcome upon his arrival at the Lahore Airport. A delegation led by Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, senior Deputy Secretary General of MQI, received Dr Abbasi G.M. Malik, Raja Jamil Ajmal, Javed Iqbal Qadri, Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Farhat Hussain Shah, Jawad Hamid, Bashir Khan, Hafiz Niaz Ahmad, and leading office holders of other forums were the members of the delegation. Dr Abbasi was garlanded when he came out of the airport. It must be kept in mind that Secretary General of MQI addressed a number of seminars and workshops and held meetings with leaders of other faiths during his visit abroad.
