Minhaj-ul-Quran International Lahore will organize Milad March on February 6 from the Assembly Hall to Data Darabar for promotion of love and respect for the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Thousands of people from different walks of life would take part in the March to express their profound love for the beloved Prophet (PBUH). A meeting of MQI Lahore held under the chairmanship of Irshad Ahmad Tahir, Amir-e-Lahore, reviewed the arrangements of the Milad March. Irshad Tahir instructed the administrative committees to put up their report within two days.

Speaking on the occasion, Amir-e-Lahore said that the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal brings a message of happiness, peace and love for the entire humanity. He said that the role played by MQI for the promotion of love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is historic and Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has dedicated his life for this sacred cause. He said that Milad March would simultaneously be held in Gujranwala and Rawalpindi in addition to Lahore.
