MQI playing its due role for human welfare and integration: Dr Brigitta Sassin & Christian Keim
Dr Brigitta Sassin and Christina Keim, heads of Schools and Nurseries in
Frankfurt, paid a visit to the Islamic Centre of Minhaj-ul-Quran International
in Frankfurt am Main. The visit was part of MQI’s initiative to reach out to
academicians, scholars, welfare and human rights activists aimed at building
bridges and forging unity. Both guests visited the centre and held a detailed
discussion with the office holders of MQI Frankfurt am Main. The representatives
of MQI briefed them about the aims and objectives of MQI and contributions of
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for the cause of peace, interfaith
dialogue and harmony. They specially threw light on the renowned Fatwa authored
by Shaykh-ul-Islam, which has knocked the bottom from under the feet of
extremists, terrorists and their handlers. Both guests appreciated the scholarly
work of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Speaking on the occasion, they said that MQI
was doing a great job for the welfare of humanity through collaboration with
other communities. They said that the world can be made peaceful if raze down
the walls of hatred, prejudice and embrace diversity and learn to respect
dissent.
