Director of Interfaith Relations of MQI Sohail Ahmad Raza condemned the murder of Shahbaz Bhatti, Federal Minister for Minorities, in a meeting with Mons Chidi Denis Isizoh (vice president), Presidentof Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue and other high officials in Vatican City Rome (Italy) on Friday morning. Sohail Ahmad Raza told the participants of the meeting that Pattern-in-Chief of Interfaith Relations Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul- Qadri has condemned the killing of Shahbaz Bhatti in the strongest possible words, saying a true Muslim cannot commit such a reprehensible crime. He told them that MQI has taken out a demonstration to protest the killing of Shahbaz Bhatti. Sohail Ahmad Raza presented the copy of English "Fattwa" of Shaykh ul Islam to the hosts. He also conveyed a special message of Shakh-ul-Islam to Pope Benedict.
