Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Supreme Council, Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Federal Council, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Secretary General of MQI, Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, senior Deputy Secretary General have felicitated the people of Pakistan on Pakistan Day, which is being celebrated today with traditional zeal and zest.

In their joint message, MQI’s leaders said that terrorists and extremists cannot erase the identity of Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. They said that the Pakistan nation remains resilient despite grave challenges and is ready to pay any price to safeguard their homeland. They said that when history called them, they always rose to the occasion. The Resolution adopted on March 23, 1940 marks the beginning of final phase of the Muslims’ quest for right to self-determination under the leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam. They underlined the need of reviving the same spirit which characterized the Muslims during freedom struggle to make Pakistan a truly welfare, Islamic and democratic state.
