Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's Visit to Australia and New Zealand

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, a Muslim Scholar, is visiting Australia in July 2011. Dr. Qadri is one of the leading Muslim scholars regarded as the most outspoken on counter-terrorism. He is a renowned vocalist on promoting integration, interfaith dialogue, global peace and harmony for humanity.

Dr. Qadri will deliver several lectures including one in Sydney on 16th July, Melbourne on 23rd July, and Brisbane on 30th July, on the topics of peace, integration, harmony, interfaith relations, and counter-terrorism.

Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will also speak on his recently launched English version of the 500-page decree ‘Fatwa on Terrorism & Suicide Bombings’, which has been an extraordinary theological blow to terrorist groups of fanatic ideas. His fatwa is a significant step to get Islam free from the radicalism. He has made headlines on CNN, BBC News, Al Jazeera, and Washington Times for his unmatched global ruling and condemnation of terrorism. Dr. Qadri is the author of more than 1000 books on various topics including the best selling fatwa book.
