Condemning the NATO attack on an army check post in Mohmand Agency, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has dubbed it as a direct attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He asked the government to take up the issue at the forum of the United Nations immediately. He further said that the country’s foreign policy needed to be reviewed to forestall the possibility of any such incursions in the future. He said that NATO has launched this attack on Pakistan in defiance of Pakistan’s contributions to war on terror and immense sacrifices suffered by the people both in man and material.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that this conduct on the part of NATO was not acceptable. He said that there was a dire need of formulating the country’s foreign relations on equality and mutual basis.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the Pakistani nation was furious over this immoral and irresponsible action. He asked the government to lodge strong protest with the US, NATO and other concerned authorities in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Pakistan so that no one could dare repeat such acts in the future.
