Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of Pir Sahib Pagara in London. In his condolence message, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the country was deprived of a statesman and a veteran politician in the death of Pir Sahib. His services for the country would be remembered for time to come and void left by his death would be hard to fill.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Pir Sahib had a deep political insight and occupied distinguished position in the national politics. In his message from Canada to the sons of Pir Sahib, he said that the death of Pir Sahib was a great loss to his followers, family and the country. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the depart soul in peace and give patience to the bereaved family and the followers of Pir Sahib.
