The meeting of Majlis-e-Shura of Minhaj-ul-Quran International will be held on January 15 in the central secretariat of MQI in Lahore. The meeting has been convened in view of peculiar situation currently obtaining in the country. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will address the meeting through video conference from Canada. Presidents, Secretaries General of all four provinces, and local office holders will attend the meeting.

Central Executive Council of MQI will meet a day earlier and put up its decisions to Majlis-e-Shura for approval. 10 administrative committees have been set up to make arrangements for the meeting.

MQI Secretary General Dr Raheeq Abbasi gave a detailed briefing about the upcoming event of Majlis-e-Shura in a meeting of Central Working Council. He also gave necessary directions about the arrangements. Amir-e-Tehreek Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Brig (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, G.M. Malik, Rana Muhammad Idrees and other central leaders also attended the meeting.
