MQI to hold programmes during holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal: Dr Raheeq Abbasi
Minhaj-ul-Quran International has planned to organize different programmes during
the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal throughout the world. The purpose of holding these
programmes is to strengthen the spiritual and emotional bond of the followers with
their revered Prophet (SAW). The strengthening of relation with the Holy Prophet
(SAW) is part of our faith. The obedience of the Prophet (SAW) is a precious asset,
which is a guarantee of our wellbeing both in this world and in the hereafter. The
Milad feast would be organized from the 1st of Rabi-ul-Awwal and continue till the
conclusion of the blessed month.
Dr Raheeq Abbasi, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, expressed
these views while addressing the administrative committees in central secretariat
Lahore.
Briefing the meeting about the arrangements, Jawad Hamid, secretary of the administrative
committee established for the International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference (SAW), said
that 60 sub-committees had been established to oversee the arrangements and they
would present their report to the head of the central Milad campaign Sheikh Zahid
Fayyaz on the 1st of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
He said that Milad Marches would be organized in nine big cities of Pakistan,
while three road caravans had left Lahore in respect of Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW). Sheikh
Zahid Fayyaz, senior Deputy Secretary General, was heading a Caravan for Layya.
Other caravans such as one led by Ahmad Nawaz Anjum and the other by Sajid Mahmood
Bhatti were on their way to Muzaffargarh and Haripur.
