Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) an ideal ruler: MQI
Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Amir of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has said that rule of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) is still a beacon of light for the establishment of an ideal, egalitarian and welfare society. Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani expressed these views while addressing a seminar organized to mark the martyrdom day of Hazrat Umar (RA) in Model Town today. He said that the nation would have to realize the gravity of the situation and entrust the task of leadership to a sincere and committed leader who has dedicated his life to their welfare and wellbeing. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was espousing the thought of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA). The 23rd of December would herald a new beginning for the country.
