Pir Syed Nafees-ul-Hassan Shah pledges support to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

Pir Syed Nafees-ul-Hassan Shah of Aastana Alia Uch Sharif visited central secretariat of MQI on the special invitation of Minhaj Ulama Council on December 23. He was given a warm welcome upon his arrival in the secretariat. Pir sahib held a meeting with Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in the patron’s office. Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Dr Raheeq Abbasi, Shikh Zahid Fayyaz, Sahibzada Muhammad Hussain Azad, and Syed Ali Ghazanfer Kararvi were also present on the occasion.

Current situation prevailing in Pakistan and the role of religious scholars came under discussion in the meeting. Pir Syed Nafees-ul-Hassan Shah said that he held contributions of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in the highest esteem. He said that he responded to anti-Islam propaganda in a very effective manner. He said that arrival of Dr Qadri was a matter of great happiness for the people of Pakistan. He said that he and his followers would extend him historic welcome on December 23. He said that he was in total agreement with Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s agenda of change in electoral system to turn around the country.
