Code of conduct agreed upon for Long March

ISLAMABAD: The Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran and Commissioner Islamabad have agreed on a code of conduct for when the long march arrives in the federal capital.

According to the agreement, participants of the long march will be unarmed, will not assault anyone and will not venture out of designated areas. There will no slogans chanted against the state nor will any participant try to enter the red or high security zone.

There will be a distance of 200 feet between the stage and participants. A security committee will be formed to assist the local police and no one will be allowed to enter without being checked. There will be one entrance for the public and a separate entrance for VIPs. The area will be secured from all sides by tents.
