ISLAMABAD - President Tehreek Minhajul Quran (TMQ) Islamabad, Abrar Advocate, Friday said no body could dare arrest Dr Tahirul Qadri and in case it happened, second in command will lead the mammoth gathering of long march.

“If any attempt is made to arrest Qadri then protestors will turn violent,” said TMQ leader, addressing a press conference. Senior members of Yong Lawyers Forum, who extended their full cooperation, were also accompanied by him.

Tahirul Qadri with million of participants will stage sit-in at D-chowk till the demands were met.

To a question about Pir Nizamuddin Jami’s stance not to support TMQ, he said they had not requested Pir Nizamuddin Jami to support. “Pir Moeen-ul-Haq, custodian of Golra Sharif shrine, is determined to support us as he has even made telephone call to TMQ chief for his support,” he maintained.

It is relevant to mention here that Haq has offered his cooperation to facilitate 200,000 participants of long march.

The TMQ leader accused government of damaging their camps and tearing publicity material including banners, pamphlets with the help of CDA. “It is unlawful as long march is being organised under constitution,” he added.

“Is it a democracy as Islamabad administration is preparing to seal the city,” he said, condemning the orders of Interior Minister Rehman Malik for damaging their camps.

Young Lawyer Forum (YLF) member Tariq Fareed Gopang said that they have played role for judiciary movement and effort would be made to make successful the long march of Dr.Tahirul Qadri.
