Lahore: Pakistan Tehrih-i-Insaf (PTI) is considering participating in the long march of Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT), moving toward Islamabad under the leadership of Tahirul Qadri.

According to sources, in a high level meeting of PTI, senior leadership advised Imran Khan to participate in the long march as the goal of PAT and PTI was common, because both of them wanted to eliminate the system of injustice from the country.

PTI Vice Chairman Shah Merhmood Quraishi, PTI President Javed Hashmi, Mehmmod-ur-Rasheed and other senior members of the party were present in the high level meeting chaired by Imran Khan.

The meeting also expressed grief over the brutal killings in Quetta and agreed to support the demand of Shiite leadership, which insisted government to call in Pakistan Army to take control of Quetta, a metropolitan of Pakistan.

It is to be mentioned here that almost 114 people were killed in two deadly blasts in Alamdar Road area of Quetta. The killings triggered protests and sit-ins by Shiite community across Pakistan. The protesters demand the pack up of provincial government as it failed to address the grievances of the Hazara community.
