INTERFAITH EVENT

Politicians, community and faith leaders gathered at Minhaj al-Quran International centre on Romford Road, London, UK in an interfaith event to commemorate the message of Jesus.

The event held on the evening of Sunday 23^rd December 2007 included Jamil Ahmad, Imam, Minhaj al-Quran Centre, Reverend Matlub Barnabas of St Emanuel’s Church in Forest Gate, Vicar James Ramsay of St Barnabas Church in Manor Park, Ishtiaq Ahmad Chairman, Minhaj al-Qur`an Centre, General-Secretary Abass Aziz of Minhaj al-Qur`an Centre and theology student James Barnabas of the London School of Theology in Watford.

Vigils of peace were recited from divine scriptures followed by light refreshments served in the main reception area of the mosque.
