USA: Shadat-e- Imam Hussain (A.S) Conference held in New Jersey

Shahadat-e-Imam Husaain (A.S.) Conference was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International on November 2 in Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational and Cultural Center NJ.

The conference started with the Quranic recitation by Qari Farhatullah. The recitation was followed by recitations of Naats and Manqabat-Ahal-e-Bait. Mohammad Salem Sheikh, Mohammad Asghar Sufi and Master Munir Ahmad recited the Naats, whereas Mohammad Iqbal Sheikh and Mohammad Shakil performed the Manqabat.

Later on, Prof. Rana Ghulam Serwar gave a speech on the greatness of Ahal-e-Bait. He said the Holy Prophet (SAW) gave the news of the incident of Karbala well ahead of its time. He said that the Imam Hussain’s (A.S) sacrifice was for greatness of religion and purification of ills that were included in it by Yazid. Sheikh Mohtazsharaf also threw light on the greatness of Ahal-e-Bait in a unique and beautiful manner. Director Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational and Cultural Center NJ, Allamah Muhammad Sharif kamalvi addressed the audience in a very precise manner. The summary of his speech was that the lesson from the Sacrifice of Imam Husaain (A.S ) is not to hesitate to give one’s own life for the sake of truth, peace, harmony and love. At the end, salutations were recited and the conference ended on a prayer.
