Shaykh-ul-Islam leaves for Yemen

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has left for Yemen to attend an international Islamic conference taking place on the 29th of January 2006.

The conference has been organised by Shaykh Habib Ali Jifri which will be attended by renowned scholars from all over the world and especially the Arab world. He has been invited to address the conference. The conference will be in the famous city of Hadramout.

Shaykh-ul-Islam is accompanied by Nazim Ala Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) and Pir Khalil-ur-Rehman Chisti Deputy Ameer MQI.

An MQI delegation has also arrived from the UK to accompany Shaykh-ul-Islam at the conference. Shaykh Abu Bakr Babikr renowned Sudanese Scholar and Principal of Yusuf Islam's Muslim School and Mr Abbass Aziz an MQI UK representative are part of the UK delegation.
