MQI Hong Kong holds Miraaj-e-Mustafa (saw) Conference

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Hong Kong chapter) organized a prestigious Miraaj-e-Mustafa (saw) Conference on July 30, 2008 in Khowi Chang. President MQI Hong Kong, M.I.S Bacha, director of MQI Hong Kong, Allama Hafiz Muhammad Naseem Naqshbandi and other leaders were among the prominent guests. A large number of people belonging to diverse walks of life also participated in the conference.

The Conference got under way with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Abdul Razzaq of South Africa followed by Naat presented by Hafiz Sher Afzal Awan, and Hafiz Adnan Sialvi.

People’s deep interest during the Naat Khawani charged the atmosphere. Allama Hafiz Muhammad Naseem Naqshbandi spoke on the topic of Miraaj-un-Nabi (saw). He said that the Holy Prophet (saw) got the gift of prayers and Salam (prophetic greetings) from his Lord during the Ascension Night. Therefore, whosoever offers prayers for Allah should also send Durood on the Holy Prophet (saw) because Allah does not grant prayer unless it is accompanied by the greetings on the Prophet (saw). He said the best manner of expressing Praise of God is to narrate the high stations bestowed on the Prophet (saw). This is also Sunna of the Prophet (saw).

Allama Hafiz Naseem Naqshbandi said at the end that Minhaj-ul-Quran International was busy in spreading the message of Millad in the entire world. The programme ended with the salutation and greetings offered on the person of the Holy Prophet (saw). Hafiz Tanveer Hussain Shah conducted the proceedings of the programme.
