MYL UK meeting with Shaykh-ul-Islam at Daura Sahih Bukhari & Muslim

MYL UK meeting with Shaykh-ul-Islam at Daura Sahih Bukhari & Muslim

Daura Sahih Bukhari & Muslim got under way on the 23rd of August 2008 with the Executive of MYL UK Sisters having their first meeting on the morning of the 24th of August.  The free slots of the Daura were used to ensure the action points set in the first meeting had been completed.

The response from all the areas of the UK was much appreciated as the MYL UK – Sisters received ten reports in total from various areas of the MYL UK Youth Leagues.  Each of these reports showed the efforts of the youth in passing on the message of the Mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) and also demonstrated that the main work of MYL UK was already being implemented on a smaller scale in many areas.

The reports were also used to collate information on all the projects carried out by the Youth Leagues and it was decided the national projects will be taken from these, with the relevant areas working on the proposals.

It was decided that the feedback regarding the reports will be given to the sisters by the 30th of August during the 'Shariah – Clarity Amidst Confusion' conference in Manchester.  This feedback will consist of the decisions made by the Executive on the local projects that are approved and will also include details of national projects.

There was also a stall at the Daura which consisted of Huzoor Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islams English lectures and books and which was also used to promote MYL UK – Sisters.  The sheer hard work of Brother Nawaz meant the stall was very successful.

At the end of the Daura on the 25th of August the MYL UK – Sisters Executive had a meeting with Shaykh-ul-Islam who expressed his happiness on the overall structure of the MYL thus far and with the professionalism with which everything was being carried out.  The meeting concluded with Shaykh-ul-Islam doing Dua for the success of the MYL UK.
