Atheism is the biggest tribulation of this era: Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Speaking in a special session convened to discuss the arrangements for the City of Retreat (Shahr-e-Itikaf), Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, stated that the present era is fraught with challenges and atheism is the biggest challenge of our times. He said that the youth are being diverted from Allah and the true faith under a conspiracy. He maintained that the youth are the secure future and precious asset of the nation and urged the scholars to come forward and protect and reform the roles and beliefs of the youth, inculcating in them religious, national, and societal responsibilities.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the theme of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's speeches in the current year's City of Retreat is the protection of the youth's roles and faith and safeguarding them from ideological deviations. He said that the members of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International, associates, and individuals from various schools of thought have been invited to be part of the City of Retreat (Itikaf City) and listen to speeches on important topics.

Vice- president Brigadier (Retd) Iqbal Ahmed Khan, Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, officials from the Women's League, were present on the occasion. Congratulations were extended for the publication of the English translation of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's acclaimed work "The Manifest Quran," which has been hailed as a significant gift from him to the youth and intellectuals of Europe, Britain, America, and all schools of thought.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council reviewed the arrangements for the Itikaf City during the meeting and directed that no stone should be left unturned in showing respect and reverence to the devoted individuals coming from all corners of the country. All measures and available resources should be employed to provide them with the best facilities, he directed.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council emphasized during the discussions that Ramadan is the blessed guest month of Allah. The rewards for worship, charity, and sacrifices performed during this sacred month are multiplied. He said that in this blessed month, the people should not neglect their poor relatives, neighbors, friends, and loved ones; they should make them guests at their table and extend help according to their means. The actions performed in Ramadan are deeply loved by Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), he said.
