Detailed Briefing Given on Arrangements for City of I’tikaf 2026

A meeting of the Central Working Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International was held under the chairmanship of Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur. Chairman Supreme Council Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the meeting as a special guest.

During the session, the Chairman Supreme Council was given a comprehensive briefing on the arrangements and preparations for City of I’tikaf 2026.

Secretary City of I’tikaf Jawad Hamid informed participants that arrangements for accommodation, meals, security, medical facilities, cleanliness, discipline, and training sessions are being finalized. Various administrative committees, he said, have been formed to ensure that thousands of worshippers observing I’tikaf are provided with the best possible environment.

Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, also briefed participants about his recent preaching tour of the Middle East. He shared that meaningful conferences were held to promote interfaith harmony, knowledge, and peace. He emphasized that in today’s global environment, organized religious and intellectual guidance has become indispensable to ensure a safe and secure future for the children of Muslim families living abroad.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier (R) Umar Hayat, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Noor Ullah Siddiqui, Colonel (R) Khalid Javed, G.M.
