A monthly meeting and Iftar dinner was organized by Awami Tajir Ittehad. The event was attended by prominent representatives of the business community, office-bearers and executive members of the organization, as well as leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Pakistan Awami Tehreek.

Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, participated as the chief guest. Chairman of Awami Tajir Ittehad, Haji Muhammad Ishaq; Secretary General Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid; and Senior Vice President Shahzad Khan warmly welcomed the distinguished guests. In their introductory remarks, they highlighted the activities of the organization and the issues faced by the trader community.

In his address, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri emphasized that honesty, transparency, and trustworthiness are the very spirit of trade, and by adhering to these principles, trust and prosperity can be promoted within society. He stated that Ramadan conveys a message of sacrifice, compassion, and collective responsibility. Islam, he noted, teaches trade based on integrity, trust, and justice. If the business community adopts ethical values in its commercial dealings, society can move toward economic stability and prosperity.

He urged traders to play an active role in supporting the underprivileged and vulnerable segments of society. He further stated that Minhaj-ul-Quran International is striving for social reform, education, welfare services, and the service of humanity.
