Governor Punjab visits relief camp of Minhaj Welfare Foundation

Salman Taseer, Governor of Punjab province, visited the relief camp of Minhaj Welfare Foundation at the Mall Road set up by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League. Ayesha Shabbir, president of Lahore chapter, Nazima Tahira Firdous, naib Nazima Zareen Latif and other office holders were present at the occasion. Governor Punjab appreciated the relief activities of Minhaj Welfare Foundation and donated for affectees of Malakand and Swat. Political, social and prominent people belonging to different walks of life and office bearers of Mall Road Traders Association also visited the camp and deposited their contributions. Minhaj Residential Units have been established in Malakand Agency, Sakhi Kot and Tehsil Dargai. There is a living capacity of dozens of people in one unit in the areas where curfew is in place. Minhaj Tent Schools and Minhaj Free Clinics are also working where services of male and female doctors are available. The workers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation are busy serving suffering humanity in the camps.
