Ex-Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Afzal Hayat visited the Central Secretariat, Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran on the invitation of Duryab Yousuf Hashmi, President PAT (Punjab). He also met Ameer Tehreek Sahibzada Miskeen Faiz-ur-Rehman. Ameer Tehreek briefed the distinguished guest about the Educational, Social Welfare and likewise Programs of MQI and struggle and efforts of its founder Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, who is also the Chairman of PAT. President Pakistan Awami Tehreek Anwar-ul-Hussain Alvi, President Planning cell Muhammad Sharif Ch, President Punjab PAT Syed Duryab Hashmi, Col. (R) Fazl-e-Amim, Spokesman PAT and Secretary to Chairman PAT G. M. Malik were also present in the meeting.

Mian Afzal Hayat shared his views with Anwar-ul-Hussain Alvi and Syed Duryab Hashmi on the current political situation.

Mian Afzal Hayat was extremely pleased with the organizational setup and the most modern systems invogue in different directorates, wings and forums. He appreciated the best efforts of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in the promotion of education and social welfare activities in the Country and abroad, and assured his whole heartedly support to the cause and mission of Tehreek.
