Mehfil-e-Naat Organized by MSM Sisters MWL

The MSM Sisters Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organized a Mehfil-e-Na’at charged with great zeal and enthusiasm in the Central Secretariat Conference Hall on Thursday 3rd of September 2009. A large number of girl students from various schools and colleges participated and attended the Mehfil.

Mohtarma Qurat-ul-Ain Fatima Convener MSM started the proceedings of the Mehfil with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Mohtarma Abida Mustafa presented a beautiful Na’at. Mohtarma Mehwish Liaqat conducted the proceedings as stage secretary.

Mohtarma Sajida Sadiq extended a warm welcome to all the participants and congratulated them for their zest to make the Mehfil a success. She also spoke on the holy Seerah of Sayyida Fatimat-uz-Zahra (may Allah bless her well with peace).

The Mustafwi group, Haidri group, Hussaini group Of Minhaj Girls College and Na’at Council from Wahga Town Lahore recited heart-catching nasheeds and presented their Na’ats to the holy presence of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him).

Talking to the participants of Mehfil Mohtarma Fareeha Khan Nazima Dawat MWL threw light on the sacred life conduct of Hadrat Fatimat-uz-Zahra (may Allah bless her well with peace) as the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him). She emphasized that we must follow her way of life. She discussed how we can take her as a model in leading our lives facing the complexities of modern life. She especially highlighted the significance of Parda for women, how ladies are observing Parda in various countries of the world and what we need to do to promote it in our society.

Winding up the programme Mohtarma Fatima Mash`hadi President MWL urged the participants of the Mehfil to understand the holy Seerah of Sayyida Fatimat-uz-Zahra (may Allah bless her well with peace) as a daughter, wife and mother. She advised the students to follow her Seerah and bring about a change in themselves. She said if every individual changes herself a change takes place in the entire society and that is what are up to do. She also advised the students to always speak truth and perform the obligatory prayers regularly and observe punctuality. The Mehfil then ended with duas.
