This institute intends to enlighten the new generation with the light of true faith (Iman) and the Holy teachings of Islam through classical and traditional sources. The lectures of Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri which are the main attraction of the course are based totally on classical sources of Islam, providing numerous new angles regarding particular subjects which have never been portrayed before. Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has ijazahs in the classical books which he will be teaching or using as reference material, the chains of which are unbroken to their authors, together with unbroken chains of asaneed going to the Prophet SAW. Amongst them is the shortest unbroken chain available to the Prophet Muhammad SAW through Imam Bukhari, which is the only one existing today. This sanad of sama`ah is also given to the graduates of ICIS by Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri amongst the other ijazah`s of books of Hadith, Seerah and Tasawwuf.

ICIS is a centre of educational excellence, which provides academic education, disseminating knowledge to the Muslim world, contributing to the improvement of human life and civilization.
