In his message on the occasion, he said that the onset of the blessed month brings with it a message of peace, happiness and tranquility. He said that our individual happiness was no match to the collective happiness symbolized by the holy month.
The Macmillan tea party was a wonderful afternoon with a great selection of cakes and deserts and insightful talks from a few individuals and also Doctor Farrakh. Over £420 was raised on the day. There was a bake off where brother Muzammel came in first place but donated his prize to the MYL brothers who won 2 tickets to an ice hockey game. Sister Aneesa won an afternoon tea for 2 in Central London with her impressive cheesecake.
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that there is no doubt about Mian Nawaz Sharif, his party and family being corrupt. He said thousands of such Panamas are up their sleeve. He said that there is no one more expert in corruption than them. He said that the worst form of dynastic dictatorship has been established in the country in the name of democracy and parliament. He said that our democratic model is going the way of that of Hosni Mubarak, Col Gaddafi, and Saddam Hussain.
Director of Minhaj Welfare Foundation Syed Amjad Shah has said that a ceremony of congregational marriages of 25 couples will be held this year as well in the Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Lahore on March 29. The committees have been established in connection with arrangements of the ceremony. 23 Muslim and two Christian couples will be married off in the mass marriage function.
By the grace of Allah Almighty, Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Hyderabad, India) has inaugurated Minhaj-ul-Quran Library and Research Institute for Islamic Studies on the 13th November 2016 in Tolichowkie area of Hyderabad. The inaugural ceremony was presided by Syed Azam Ali Sufi Sahab.
